his little honeysuckle.

After deciding I didn't want to hang around
reading blogs all day yesterday, I spent a small chunk of time
on a mattress in the living room, watching The Office
with my favorite husband who keeps calling me
his little honeysuckle.

By noon, we were up and ready to go,
since I had promised my sister-in-laws
a chunk of my day off.
My husband, being the awesome
"paying for parking is stupid" husband that he is,
dropped the three of us at the
craft fair in East Lansing. Surprisingly, we all
managed to go without spending a single penny
(except on the necessary amount of Qdoba
due to being in or around the Qdoba area)

It was inspiring to see all the booths set up,
and all the random things people made to sell.
Originally, I wanted to try and get a booth,
but I'm thinking I will next year.

Afterward, we all headed to my mother-in-law's
for wedding chicken and french fries.
(However, I only had a handful of french fries.
Hooray vegetarianism!)

And then, we went down
to the little ice cream parlor in town.
It was perfect, seeing as it was
a real. summer. day. yesterday.

By the end of the night, I was exhausted,
a bit sunburnt, and mostly ready to return to laying
on a mattress in our living room, watching The Office
with my favorite husband who keeps calling me
his little honeysuckle.

The Sundays I have off work are usually my favorite.

Love & Marriage - 3 Months

Tomorrow, we will be married for three months, and to be honest,
some days I don't tell my husband how much I appreciate him.
I don't thank him for everything he does for our life together.
There are things about him I treat as flaws,
that are really just different from my self,
and don't hurt one bit, but that
I make too big a deal out of.

But as a whole, and when it comes down to it, to what really matters,
and what I need/want/have, I am in love with my husband.
I love our little family - just us and the kitty cat.
I love our attempts to cook now that we're "independent",
and that he eats anything I make, even when it's
 nasty.
I love impromptu dates we go on,
because spontaneity is a tough thing for me,
since I'm such a PLANNER.
I love nights in (which are abundant since we're homebodies!)
where we just sit on the couch and watch episodes of our favorite shows.

Our life can be tough and dull sometimes, and way less bizarre
than I imagined my life at 21, but
it's better in so many ways, and I'm thankful for that.

I'm thankful for my husband,
and his love for me.
And I hope he feels how much I love him, every day.
