I know this is going to be completely random but

I miss feeling one hundred percent certain about everything.

When I was younger,
I didn't quite realize how much uncertainty there is in life.
It's unreal how much time and energy I spend wondering,
wondering,
about where Husband and I will live,
and where we'll work.
But there's so much more to it.
There's the more complex things to wonder about,
like
when we'll have kids,
what we'll do with the rest of our lives,
what lessons and truths we'll learn,
and what we'll find in this giant world.

There's just so much I want to do,
and so many questions I want to find the answers to.
I want to work diligently along a distinct path,
making it smoother and more beautiful
for the people who will come after me.

I want to be excited for every single thing that comes my way.
Because life is happening every second,
and sometimes I feel like I missed out on something amazing
while I was sitting around moping about what hasn't worked out yet.

So here's to being excited for LIFE,
even if that excitement strikes you at a strange and quiet moment.

  2. I understand every word. I sometimes feel the same. Life is right now, NOW! And it should be amazing, every minute of it. :)
