When I Get Low, I Spend the Dough*

When something isn't going right,
I tend to spend money as a pick-me-up,
and nine times out of ten,
the time it takes to convince myself to buy something
(because I'm kind of bad at "treating myself right")
is congruent with the amount of time it takes
for me to think about what's getting me down
and semi-solve the problem in my head -
so it's a double whammy on cheering myself up, ya hear?

So yesterday I bought a new purse from Target (love!),
and today I bought myself the new Never Shout Never CD
and had Panera for dinner (with a pumpkin spice latte),
and I feel infinitely better than I did yesterday.
